Personal History

Fred has always viewed career as an adventure of self-expression. His many interests have offered opportunity for personal discovery. Understanding our natural personality and talent nurtures the "Road Less Traveled."

Fred had three strong interests in life: sports, building things and people. College football led to a ten year coaching career at the high school and university levels. Coaching caused Fred to realize that the lives of the players were more important than winning games.

The next stop was a seven year stint in grad school studying psychology, counseling and theology. These interests have been supplemented with an avocation as an amateur philosopher. The building itch was scratched by speculating in the housing and commercial markets on the side.

Fred's primary personal discoveries related to an ability to hear emotions and evaluate basic human needs. This inspired a career of listening and conversing with others as a Counselor-Life Coach.

Feeling understood by others is paramount to the path of healing. Fred's clients often remark that feeling heard is a strong source of encouragement and hope. Accurately hearing and understanding emotions is the key to powerful healing intervention.
